IELTS

The IELTS is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. It is accepted by most academic institutions across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA.

Test Format:

  • Listening (30 minutes)

  • Reading (60 minutes)

  • Writing (60 minutes)

  • Speaking (11–14 minutes)

 

Scoring:
Band score range: 1 (Non-User) to 9 (Expert User)

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

The TOEFL measures the ability of non-native English speakers to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings.

Test Format:

  • Reading (60–80 minutes)

  • Listening (60–90 minutes)

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

The GMAT is used by business schools to assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. It tests analytical writing, problem-solving abilities, and data sufficiency.

Test Format:

  • Analytical Writing Assessment (30 minutes)

  • Integrated Reasoning (30 minutes)

  • Quantitative (62 minutes)

  • Verbal (65 minutes)

 

Scoring:

Total score: 200–800
